We were able to track down the problem with the help of our partner, Eurotronic, analyze it and narrow it down to a small number of Eve Thermo devices. In addition to numerous improvements, the latest firmware upgrade for your Eve accessories features value triggers, which you can apply to rules for automation. These value triggers include Temperature, Humidity, Air Quality, and Power, among others. In iOS 9.3.x, rules with value triggers exist and operate on the iOS device originally used to create them. By contrast, with iOS 10 and an additional Apple TV 4 running tvOS 10 in your home, rules you create on your iPhone synchronize with Apple TV 4, and triggers exist and operate on your local home network.read more
Today’s firmware upgrade for Eve Thermo marks the completion of our series of upgrades for all Eve devices. Easy to install via the Eve app, it offers significantly faster connection and switching times for Eve Thermo, in addition to general performance enhancements and bug fixes. All Eve devices with upgraded firmware are fully compatible with the Home app in Apple’s upcoming iOS 10. In Elgato Eve 2.0 we provide the biggest update of our free app. The new tab bar gives easy, fast access to the most commonly used functions. Now scenes have found their own home in Eve 2.0 and are easy for users to access and sort. Users with Eve Energy will not only see actual power consumption together with total consumption but also “Projected Cost” and “Total Cost.” Eve 2.0 comes with a brand-new app icon as well.
